Caches Party at Bounce U

Ty loved the slide. Chad was a good sport and together they had a blast.

I said say cheese and this is what I got. I had to laugh. Mr Personality

Happy B-Day Mom

We went to Bone Fish Grill for moms bday dinner. Since Chad was in Vegas working most the week I was the 3rd wheel with Michelle and Ricky. I thought Mom was 53 or 54 but she turned 52. Wow mom your so young. Crazy to think that you have all your kids out of the house and 13 grand kids. If I had time I would list 52 things I love about you but I dont so I will list 7. That would be the numbers in your age added.
1. She can cook with the best of them, and willingly does it every Sunday regardless of how many people are there.
2. She is one of the hardest workers I know.
3. She is always willing to watch her grand kids and constantly wants to spend time with them.
4. She knows every funny, silly song there is and teaches them all to the kids. Then takes pride in it when they can all sing them to and with her.
5. She is always a voice of reason and will tell it like it is. I can always count on a honest answer from her. Even if its not one I always want to hear.
6. She is a very motivated and always righteous person. I have always known mom to be on her knees praying and reading and through this is an amazingly strong person. She taught us kids well and most importantly always lived what she taught.
7. Is my best friend and an example that I strive to be like. She has always loved me and been Christlike towards me. I could not ask for a better example of what I pray to be like someday.
I love you mom and we are all so blessed to have you. Thanks for all you are constantly doing and giving. I hope you had a great day!!!!!

War Birds Musuem

Dante was all smiles. He ran from one plane to the next with this same cute smile on his face.

Since Tate has been loving the airplane thing of late I thought I needed to find a new spot because the Gateway airport was getting old. I watched a friend of ours little boy all week and knew he would love to see all the planes as well. So on Tues Julie and I and all the kids went up to Falcon Field to check out more planes. The museum is really neat! These planes are pretty amazing! Tate, Brecken and I went through the B17 bomber while Julie watched the other kids. I was shocked how tight it was in there. I would be so claustrophobic if I had to ride in one. The boys thought it was so cool to be in an airplane though. Part of the place is right next to the run way and there was alot more action to be seen than at Gateway. We ended up going back on Thurs. to. I'm telling you Tate is obsessed right now. I have enjoyed not having hair and being able to take the kids to do fun things. We have had a ton of fun watching Dante this week. Thanks Julie for coming with me and giving me an extra hand. When we were done there we had lunch at Mattas. What a good way to wrap up a fun outing. I am hoping he will not be requesting the museum for a while. I think we have seen all there is to see for now!!

More Dbacks

It doesn't get much cuter than these boys. Tate was dying for a foul ball to come to him. He didn't get any balls hit to him but he got to check out Orlando Hudson up close and personal. Ho Dawg is his favorite!!
Seriously every picture now days has this face. She is so much fun and has the funniest personality!

We decided to take Tate and Ty to the game last week for a fun little family night. We missed having B there she was at her dads. I doubt we will make the mistake of taking Ty again. Tate does awesome and loves it. Tylee not so much. She wanted to run and play the entire time. We were doing good until one of the workers said she could not be in the isle at all. Its so lame because where we sit there is plenty of space for her to play and not block the stairs. It didnt take long trying to keep her on my lap before I was sick of it. Chad and I took turns walking around with her and then we decided we were done. It was a great game and the Dbacks played amazing. We love going to the games and love our new seats. Thanks you Jared!!!!!

Are you kidding me?

It has been forever since I last posted. Tylee is quite the tom boy and will touch anything. Its quite a pain most the time. Anyways she comes in the house the other day carrying this THING! What in the world I swear I almost died. I hate anything in the reptile dept. So she walks in and says " here mom, look, Yucky" as I start to yell she decides to drop it on the kitchen floor. It smelled so sick I was dry heaving. It takes alot to get me that flustered. Tate kept asking if I was ok and if I was going to throw up. Brooks would have never touched something like that. After I cleaned her up I put on some gloves and carried it out to the trash heaving the entire way there. Thanks Ty for giving me nightmares.

Brooks Baptism

Brooklyn was baptised today at noon with her best friend Madison Lamb. It was such a neat experience for me. Her dad baptised her and then Chad was able to confirm her. She was a little nervous but that seemed to fade when she realized how many family members and friends were there to support her. She looked so pretty in her dress and was glowing. I am so glad that she wanted to be baptised and knows that it is the right thing to do. I asked her why she thought it was important and she told me because Jesus did and she wants to follow his example. I know that she really is starting to understand gospel principles and enjoys learning about them. She and Madison sang the song, If the Savior Stood Beside Me. It was the cutest thing ever. B asked my dad to give the talk on the Holy Ghost and as always he did amazing. I am so blessed to have B as my daughter! I love her so much and appreciate her.

After the baptism we came back to our house and had a lunch with everyone to celebrate the big day and also her Bday. We had way to much food but it all turned out really good. Thanks to everyone who helped me out. I know I always say this but we are so lucky to have the families that we do! Brooks scored big time. She told me tonight that she is rich now. It was a fun and exciting day. Thank you, Thank you for being a part of it with us. Most importantly thank you B for making the right choices. Mom and Dad are proud of you!

This weekend has made me feel old. Scary!!! I have a daughter who got baptised which sometimes feels like it was just yesterday that I did. Last I hung out with a bunch of 80s rockers with big bangs and feathered hair dos and loved every minute. Thats ok I have a good 9 years before Im caught up to my husband :) What I have concluded though is that getting older is far more rewarding than being young. It actually feels good!

Bon Jovi + Daughtry = Great Concert

Chad got me tickets for Christmas to Bon Jovi. I have been excited since then to go. I will say I was not let down one bit. I didn't know that Daughtry was opening for him until the day of. I love Daughtry and have since he was on Idol. Anyways we had a ton of fun. I felt like I was back in high school. Maybe because that's about how long its been since I have been to a concert. Bon Jovi is amazing. Seriously they have so many good songs and appeal to a wide variety of people. Some were really quite funny to see. Lots of plastic and big hair!!! I have to say that Richie Sambora is amazing!! Chad and I could not get over how awesome he is! Anyways thanks mom and dad for keeping our kids so we could have a great night out. Also thanks to Chad for providing me with so many fun experiences. I am blessed to be married to you and appreciate all you do for me!Crazy how fast this guy can move his arms. I looks like his hands aren't even there not to mention the drum sticks that he was holding.

Brooks Games

This is true love, Wayne is licking her ice cream after she has slobbered all over it. Im not even that crazy. Is that to cute or what? The kids think it is the greatest thing to go to ball games. I think this is why!! I think Ty had 2 Suckers, a drumstick, skittles, gum and who knows what else. Thats all in a one hour game. Tana Lamb who watches the kids quite frequently loves to spoil them and they love her. Thanks Tana for being the best babysitter and loving my kids! Chea emailed these to me and I thought they were cute.

Brooks 1st game

Brooks did so good her first game. We have had a few since then and she she is still doing well but frustrated because she gets so nervous. She wants to be the best at everything and in some ways its a good thing and in other ways it causes her to be to hard on herself. Anyways I am enjoying it as are the other 2 kids. Chad and Eric Lamb are coaching and do such a great job. Stephanie Heitz is awesome as the team mom, she is responsible for the hair ties and banners and the mats they sit on etc... Glad its her and not me.
What is with this face that she makes now. It is hilarious and hideous all in one. She is such a scavenger. I have no idea who's drink that even was, lol.

Pedi Party

Does this picture look familiar anyone? Lake Havasu 1998 was my inspiration for this pic.

I think this was the first year in the last 4 that we did not have her party at bounce zone. It was a fun change. B invited 6 girls to come get pedicures with us. Julia and Cheyenne, Larken and B all rode the bus home together. We went and picked up Madison and Lauren and Daisy and headed to the nail shop. I am hoping that my hearing comes back after all the yelling and giggling. Who needs to go to the Hannah Montana concert when you can ride with 7 girls who can belt it out. It really was fun and cute to see the girls excited! After our toes were done we went to Red Robin for dinner. Chad, Tate and Ty met us there. I was hoping to have all the girls home by 730 but it didnt happen. It was more like 830 so thanks to all the parents who let me steal your kids on a school night. We had a blast and I am glad that B has such a good group of friends to associate with!
From the left are Cheyenne Willingham, Lauren Porter, B, Larken, Julia Heitz, Madison Lamb and Daisy Peters.

Happy B-Day Brooks

Today is Brooklyns 8th birthday! I can not believe how quickly 8 years has gone by! Brooks is such a blessing for me to have. I am so fortunate that April 1, 2000 my chunky 10 pound 23 in. baby came into my life. She was the happiest baby you could have imagined. She made it so easy to love her because she was so cute and kissable and just good all the time. Becoming a mom at 18 was not the easiest route to take but has blessed me with more happiness than I could have ever know. Thank you B for being you, for making me smile(most the time) and making me proud. You are a hard worker in everything you do and it shows! You are the most beautiful 8 year old I know. I love your eyes and all the different shades of green. I love you and hope that you had a great bday! I know I sure had fun!

Brooklyn enjoys reading and is very good at it. She loves her dance class and is quickly picking up some nice moves. B enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is doing awesome in school this year. She is doing very well at piano and seems to like it most the time. Brooklyn loves everything to do with water. She loves the beach and swimming.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! I LOVE YOU
