Preschool

Tate started this week going to school on Mon. and Wed. mornings. He is going to Rondalee Jones who we absolutely love. After starting school last year and not really being ready I was not sure how he would do. He has been excited for months to go and didn't look back on Mon. I asked him how he likes it and what he learns and he just says that its fun. That works for me!! I'm just glad that he wants to go and its not like pulling teeth to take him. He comes home and pretends do to homework like Brooks does. I am excited that he is happy and ready to learn. I hope it continues, you know boys attention is a tad different than girls. I love Tate so much and am blessed to be his mom. He is the roughest toughest little boy but is so amazingly sweet. He is my kid who like to snuggle and love on me. His personality is through the roof and we are always laughing at how funny he is. I am so fortunate to be the mom of 3 happy and healthy kids!!!

Finally

I have had the same country plaid couch in my house since I was 19. Almost ten years later I am happy to report that it is not a part of my living room anymore. I think the new one is much better. Now some chairs, drapes and hanging all the pics that are just sitting around in there and that room will be done!!!!! Thanks Chad, not sure if it was a guilt driven purchase or not but either way I wont complain.

Back to School

B started back to school 2 weeks ago. Im a bit behind I know. She started at Queen Creek Elem. which is a new school for us this year. Its right around the corner so that has been very nice for me. It has been a rough transition but I think that she is starting to settle in. She had a rough start the first day because there was a mix up as to who her teacher was. Once we got that all settled she has been fine. Other than the crazy bus driver who by the first day was already yelling and swearing at the kids. Her teacher is Mr. Jeffers and she likes him a lot. She has quite a few friends in that class as well. Being at a new school it helps to have some familiar faces. As always she is off to a good start and is doing really well. As a mom its always hard for school to start back up and to regain structure or the lack of in my case. We are still trying to make bed time happen smoothly. B does fine its the other 2 that are killing me. Along with school starting up so does piano and dance. She is taking at club dance again. We actually got lucky enough to have her in a class with Larkin. Plus she has the same teacher she had before who we adore. Its definitely never ending but we enjoy being able to do all the extras. B I love you and am thankful you are such a good kid. I get nothing but positive feed back from teachers and your church leaders. I couldn't ask for more, well maybe you could be a bit nicer to your siblings:)

Surprise

Last weekend we went up to Flagstaff for Nana Parkers 80th B-day party. She had such a great turn out. It was fun to see all the cousins and enjoy the nice weather. I love a good storm and all of the ailments that go along with it. Down here we do have thunder and lightning but its not the same. I can remember when I was a kid and would spend my summers in Snowflake. I used to love too sit on the porch and watch the rain. I love how the thunder is so loud it almost takes your breath away. I remember just thinking how amazing and blessed I was to be able to enjoy all of Gods creations. So a good storm I guess you could say takes me back to that carefree place. We had excellent weather and a good storm. Not tons of rain but some good loud thunder and lightning. My kids weren't to fond of it. Ty and Tate are both afraid of thunder. We played hard and the kids ran themselves ragged. I cant wait for it to be in the 70s here and actually want to spend time outside. I miss the park and the back yard. Anyways we had a lot of fun and enjoyed our trip. We are blessed to have such great families. Its always a good time when we spend it with them. We missed having B and Jace with us. Nana Parker is the best. Since I have been a part of the family she has never forgotten a bday. That's a big task with so many of us. She is a great cook and an amazing seamstress. We love getting quilts from her. Thank goodness she makes them for us or we might not have any blankets. I have grown to know and love her. She is extremely selfless and is always serving others. What a great example she is to our family. My kids and I are so blessed to be a part of her family. Reed, Chad and their cousin Kevin Canter
Ty was trying to hide behind the pole because she was getting into the desserts knowing she should not be. I think she was giving me a dirty look since I caught her!I think this could pass for an engagement picture:) We took the Lake Mary road home for the purpose of the scenic route. I have never been on this road and the extra 30min was worth it. I mean seriously look at the trees. Why does anyone live in the valley. We did see lots of elk but I couldn't get a picture. I did get a picture of Chad on the side of the road but I will keep that one away from the blog. We had a great trip and enjoyed the day spent in great weather!!!!!
